2026 Spring Induction Important Information
Please remember to bring a copy of your BSA Health Form Parts A & B for the event. We are not providing dinner on Friday night; we will have snacks at our social time. Staff check-in begins at 6:00pm in the Barnes Welcome Center. Please bring appropriate clothing for the weather. The forecast for the weekend is looking good but Be Prepared! There has been increased tick activity at camp. We are recommending that everyone Be Prepared and bring appropriate clothing to mitigate the chances of a tick bite, and the use of appropriate insect repellant during our event. On 3/21 the Erie Canal District is having their Gold Nugget Derby! They are having five stations which include: fire building, knots, Kim’s game(memory game), panning for gold, planting beans in a cup, and snacks. If anyone is interested in helping reach out to ea.desimone@yahoo.com

Annual Lodge Dues:
Lodge dues are $20/year. Lodge dues cover the costs of registration and insurance with Scouting America. Lodge dues also help to cover Lodge expenses for materials and supplies. Dues are good for one calendar year, January to December. To be an active Lodge member you must be current with your Lodge Dues. If you are not sure if your Dues are current, you can check your status in the OA App on your smartphone or on the OA Member Portal https://portal.oa-scouting.org or you can contact your Lodge Adviser at adviser@oalodge34.org
Lodge Annual Pass:
The NEW Lodge Annual Pass (Bear Pass) is a way for active members to save money by pre-paying for our Lodge Events! Bear Pass includes your Annual Dues $20, Winter Lock-In $40, Spring Induction $20, Bear-B-Que $15, Fall Induction $20, Octobearfest $40, and any other local Lodge activities. Bear Pass costs $125, it can save you $30! Bear Pass holders will still have to register for the individual events, just pick annual pass as the purchase option for the events.
