Dear Arrowman,
Registration for the National Order of the Arrow Conference 2018 is now open! NOAC is Scouting’s second-largest national event, and carried out entirely by Arrowmen. This year, participants will be travelling to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, for a five-day conference from July 30th to August 4th. Participants will have the opportunity to develop enhanced leadership skills, gather ideas from a national perspective on how to better their own lodge, and enjoy fellowship with Arrowmen from across the country.
Due to anticipated interest and the facilities available at Indiana University, our Lodge’s slots are limited. If you are interested in participating in this great national event, we must know in advance so we may organize a contingent. An initial deposit of $100 is required to secure your slot in our contingent, and must be paid by September 29th at the latest. The conference fee for NOAC 2018 will be $525 per participant, with an estimated additional cost of $100-$300 per participant for transportation.
To express your interest in attending as a part of our Lodge’s contingent, please visit www.leatherstockingcouncil.
Join us in representing Ohkwaliha·Ká Lodge #34 for our Lodge’s first national event! We hope to see you there!
In Service,
Kegan Kleeschulte
Lodge Chief
P.S.- Arrowmen looking to serve on staff for the national conference must register separately and will not count against our contingent’s quota of available participant spaces. For more information on serving as a staff member at NOAC 2018, visit www.oa-bsa.org for more information.

Come join us for a weekend of service and fellowship June 9-10th at Camp Henderson! All Lodge members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Participants will arrive Friday night (preferred) or Saturday morning and work around camp during the day Saturday. The event will cost $10 for all current Brotherhood and Vigil members and $30 for new Brotherhood candidates (those currently Ordeal and going through the ceremony) to cover food and other expenses of membership. Preregistration will guarantee the lowest price for attending this event, and can be found below.
Brotherhood Candidates (current Ordeal members who will be attending) should review the OA’s Jumpstart website, especially the section on the “challeneges” to be faced during the ceremony.
